Who is Kaly Clauss?

Kaly Clauss was cosmically destined to make music since before she was even on earth. Her father said he wanted a daughter to make music with and a folk/ country, lyric obsessed creator is what he got. Through the years she grew into her singer/songwriter roots and began writing songs at as early as 5 years old, they mirrored what she heard coming from artists on the radio and her obsession with Britney Spears. These early tunes, now locked away in a tiny red notebook in her desk are laughable, but show the start of an early spirit that was made to write songs. At age 13 she began learning guitar and with the inspiration of Bob Dylan and Stevie Nicks (who her guitar was eventually named after) she started to pen melodies about her real life experiences, including love, infatuation, loss, mental health struggles, and more, she threw everything honestly onto paper and sang it with true passion. She was also making Youtube videos, some with incredible success, around this time she even sang with Ed Sheeran. As she continued to grow as an artist, she started playing countless shows throughout the East Coast and has always captured an audience with her raw vulnerability through her lyrics. Now at 24 years old she has taken her career fully into her own hands, creating music at her home studio, filming some of her own music videos, photographing her own content and staying massively involved in anything with her name on it. She believes deeply in the power of being a woman in music who can do it all on her own and hopes she inspires young musicians to do the same.
